Pattern nodes give the ability to control the flow of your mix.
Mode 1 – Activation #

On off activation
Mode 2 – Individual Tile Activation #

Each tile can be toggled on and off giving you the control to turn off different branches of the pattern.
Mode 3 – Pattern Length #

Clicking the arrows will increase the pattern length in the direction chosen. You can also click the X in order to remove the length

You can also take this concept and combine different pattern nodes together.

In this example you can see it goes through the first node and will activate the second pattern node every other pulse. This effectively doubles the time to activate the second pattern. This method can be used to clean up the usage of patterns on larger and more complex mixes.
