Sound nodes are the most complex node in the game. They can play a sound of a specific note, octave, and apply elements to them to control the effects applied to the sounds.
Mode 1 – Activation and muting #
Turn Activation On and Off
Mutes the sound node, but still allows activation.
Record next midi note into the sound node.
Reset node back to default
Mode 2 – Sample Editing and Notes #
The sample palette holds all of the sample presets for playing sounds. These vary from Piano, to synths, and drumkits.
You can click and drag these onto the circular slot on the node to apply them.
Octave for the current sound. Drumkits at the moment make this a tad awkward. This will be revised at some point. Hover and scroll to change.
Note to play. Drumkits still show this, but will in the future show the actual drum type. Hover and scroll to change.
Mode 3 – Element FX #
Sound Effects Palette allows you to apply elements that change how a sound plays.
Each Element can be clicked and dragged onto the hex type slots. From there you can then hover over and scroll up and down to change how much the element applies its certain effect.
Mode 4 – Simple Pattern Playback #
Patterns allow for a simplified and controlled playback of the sound with a certain sequence. Its best used for drumkits but you CAN use it for any sample.
Clicking and dragging the center dial adjusts how many sounds will play in the pattern. The Sequence is then controlled by clicking the activation buttons per fin.
